The NMSU DanceSport Team is an athletic social dance team. The purpose of the team is to increase the knowledge of social dance within the NMSU and Las Cruces communities. Instruction covers a variety of dances including Latin, Ballroom and Swing. All dancing is couple dancing. As a member you get to look forward to offering the community performances and instruction. Also, like all athletic teams, NMSU DanceSport competes competitively with other universities. The NMSU DanceSport Team welcomes anyone seriously interested in social dance!
The DanceSport Team is always willing to perform at local events, for a donation. For more information regarding performances and availability contact the Team Director or Advisor.
